Three Questions Everyone Secretly Asks Their Leader

Don’t miss the Three Questions Everyone Secretly Asks Their Leader:

Do you care for me?
Can you help me?
Can I trust you?

I’ve learned when leaders answer these three questions, it unlocks dedication, loyalty, and heart and soul– a willingness to work hard and give it their all.

Who can you connect with, in a deeper, more meaningful way this week?

  • Someone new on your team?
  • A long-standing co-worker?
  • A key client?
  • A past client you hold dear?
Here are some reminders when connecting with others:
Key concept: connecting and answering the three questions 1) Do you care for me 2) Can you help me? 3) Can I trust you?

Connecting begins when the other person feels valued by you!

One-on-one
• Know what they value by being a good and sincere listener.
• Find out what they value most by asking questions of interest.
• Build trust by being vulnerable and open with your communication.

Team
• Discover and identify the strength of each person in your team.
• Acknowledge the value of each person’s potential contribution and thank them.
• Invite their leadership and allow them to flourish in areas of strengths.
One of my favorite quotes is by Abraham Lincoln, “I do not like that man… I must get to know him better.”
When we get to know the people we work with and serve, it builds a bond of trust and connection that lasts the test of time.

Here’s to your leadership this week!
