A Leaders AQ (Attraction Quotient)
Our culture puts a lot of stock on IQ, a persons intelligence quotient. I believe EQ, a persons emotional quotient (aka emotional intelligence) is also equally critical for successful connecting, collaborating, and working with performance teams. AQ, attraction quotient, is also something you must possess.
Every one of us has the ability to attract others based on key attraction assets. I’m not talking about physical attractiveness, I mean deep qualities that are desirable in a personal leader. The greater the attraction assets you possess, the more likely people will want to connect and follow you.

Every strong leader I know has an inspiring purpose that drives them daily. It is their center-core, a calling, and an abiding contribution they make daily, personally and professionally.
Knowledge and intelligence are essential. Centered leaders are wise and having experience, they move and lead with sound judgement.
Warm and approachable, they possess a quiet confidence that draws people to them and their ideas.
They attract others by their gifts — a gift of clarity, communication, and leading others to extraordinary accomplishments.
People love competent leaders of excellence. Leaders who execute and drive results and also get things done on time.
I’ve realized attractive leaders radiate a special energy. This is a physical, emotional, and spiritual energy that is like a light of energy. Everyone grows towards them and feeds off of their leadership energy.
They can be counted on, they show up on time, they give their word (iron-clad), and when they make a mistake, they quickly confess it and own it responsibly.
Everyone possesses these seven qualities in various developing forms. The greater your attraction quotient, the greater and stronger you will lead as a professional. If you want people to buy in to you, you must work to increase your AQ.
