Your Breakthrough After the Breakout: Survival, Success, or Significance?

My biggest battle while stay at home orders have been in place has been keeping my mind on a “winners mindset” and not a “loser’s mentality.

My challenge to you: Keep asking yourself, “Survival, success, or significance? Will you simply survive following the breakout? Will you succeed? Are you thinking and dreaming about new successes as challenging as they may be? Are you out to make a truly significant difference?”

On a recent series of executive leadership calls, I asked my clients to lean into significance and write out some new significant plans. I challenged them to not let fear and uncertainty put them into a fight, flight, or freeze mode.

I love what Napoleon Hill said, “Cherish your visions and dreams as they are children of your soul: the blueprints of your ultimate achievements.

This week, take a moment to identify a survival fear you are wrestling with:

  • Scarcity
  • Failure
  • Loss
  • Uncertainty
  • Sadness
Then, shift for a moment. Think of:
  • Abundance
  • Success
  • Winning
  • Certainty
  • Joy
I had no idea that when my coauthor, Mike Acker and I sat in Wood’s Coffee in Bellevue, Washington to map out our new book, Lead With No Fear that it would be released during such a relevant, timely, and encouraging time.

Mike and I would love for you to be a part of our Insiders Group for VIP early access here. The released date is Tuesday, June 16.

Let’s strive these days to truly lead without fear so we can discover our greater purpose to make a lasting difference in our families, friendships, teams, and business.
