Be the Leader You Always Wanted to Follow!

The recent shootings of police officers is a stark reminder of the troubling days we live in. Having a son in law enforcement causes me to again be prayerful for him daily and all his brothers and sisters in uniform.

Following the attacks on the Dallas officers, it was inspiring to listen and watch the leadership of the Dallas Police Chief, David Brown. "We're hurting. Our profession is hurting. Dallas officers are hurting. We are heartbroken."

Brown said in the wake of a sniper's rampage during an anti-police brutality protest, "There are no words to describe the atrocity that occurred to our city. All I know is that this must stop, this divisiveness between our police and our citizens."

  • Leaders step up
  • Leaders lead the way
  • Leaders speak the truth
  • Leaders show strength in times of testing
  • Leaders rally others around what is good and what is right

Every one of us can lead where we are! You do not need a lofty position or impressive title on a business card.  You do need to model the way and to have courage to set the example and positively influence others.

I encourage you to stop waiting to lead. Lead now! Lead today! Lets be the leader we always wanted to follow!

Blessings to all of you,

Steve
